I'm waiting till the market bottoms out....
The saying penny wise and pound foolish comes to mind. How will you know when
the market bottoms out...when it starts to rise again. How soon will you know
when it starts to rise again...when you realize the house you were wanting is
sold.
Don't Wait. If you know you are going to need a new home within the next year,
then now is the time to act. Especially if you have to sell your existing home
in order to purchase your next home. Then you need to have your home on the
market now. It will take longer to sell the later in the year you put on the
market. The reason - more competition from other sellers.
Don't fool yourself into thinking that all buyers are waiting for the market to
turn around. There is another buyer putting an offer on their new home right now
who knows now is the time to buy a home. They could be buying your dream home.
